Apple introduces the new connector to replace Lightning 30-pin connector. Apple said the smaller connector Lighning is smarter and more durable than the previous 30-pin connector. It is fully digital and features an adaptive interface using only signals each accessory required. The connector is also reversible meaning there is no wrong way to connect the cable. The Lightning has been used in the newly announced iPhone 5, iPod touch, and 5th generation iPod nano seventh generation.

For owners who have legacy 30-pin accessories, Apple has released a 30-pin beam adapter so you can use with the iPhone 5. However, the adapter does not support video, iPod off. Its price is $ 29.00. Lightning also released $ 19.00 to USB Cable if you need an additional cable for your new iPhone or iPod.
